Greetings! This is the one hundred and seventy fifth edition of the
Monday Messenger. Its purpose is to bring you
current information about the ABCDE project and area.
ABCDE consists of local residents from Atlanta, Burden,
Cambridge, Dexter and
Eastern
Cowley
County
working together for community development. If you

Newsletter Name Change
Greetings! It’s
been some time since I sent out an ABCDE Monday
Messenger. I had back surgery in February and am doing
well. I have decided to change the name to ABCDE
Messenger and will send it out periodically as we have
news. Please send me any information that you have for
the newsletter! Thanks. Shannon
Eastern Cowley County Area
Wide Garage Sales
The area wide
garage sales will take place this Saturday, April 24.
Most sales are held from 8 – 12. A listing can be found
on the ABCDE website at

Kansas Sampler Festival
Cowley County will
be represented at the Kansas Sampler Festival in
Leavenworth on May 1 and 2. More details can be found
at
www.kansassampler.org.

KSBDC offers the
following workshops for new businesses:
Meeting the 3 Ms: Learning the Basics of
Marketing, Management and Money
If you want to start a new business, the three Ms
are critical. This seminar offers basic, yet essential
information to consider about Marketing, Management, and
Money for a new business. A variety of resources will be
provided to you that will help you assess the
feasibility of your business idea. We will wrap up with
tips so you will be ready to start writing your business
plan.
